mGTD: GTD for Moleskine v1.0

Here I am again!
In-between of my testings, the new Lexus RX07h [the hybrid 4x4 car] and the new superb Sanyo Xacti HD1a HD camera, I finally found some time to work for THE project :-)
Well, it's time for a new version of GTD for Moleskine system. The paper system that you can use it with your Moleskine, everyday!
Mr Michael Ramm, one of the men behind the great Black Belt Productivity is the "godfather" of the new name of GTD for Moleskine system!
We had a great email exchange all these days and I have to admit that Mr Black Belt Productivity is a brilliant and very creative man!
Michael also gave me a lot of ideas and his contribution to this version was more than valuable!
Well the improvements from the first version are:
1. size has change so the color spread is the only thing that bleeds out of the Moleskine planner
2. Next Actions entries are 20 per page giving more space for writing
3. We made also some arrangement for "Some Day/maybe" and "Waiting for" fields
4. Now we have 3 different color versions: Orange, Red, Blue
5. Each page has crop marks for easy cutting
6. Each version has the main mGTD page and also 3 more back-page options: a. a daily scheduler, b. a contact names page and c. a landscape mindmap playground!
So now, you can have the mGTD sheet which fits better to your daily needs ;-)
If you want to have an idea about the mGTD system, take a look at the following images:

And if you are ready to use the mGTD v1.0 system here are the PDF files, ready for printing:
mGTD Orange
mGTD Red
mGTD Blue
Hmmmm, I know that shapes with rounded corners are very popular, so I promise that the next version will be a more Web2-like, with more improvements too ;-)
So use the current version, test it, comment about your experience of using this and... stay tunned!
PS: Special thanks to Diana for her help to the mGTD project!

#1 Thanks for the kind words,
Thanks for the kind words, Stefanos.
We did have a great exchange of ideas, but you are the creator and innovator of the mGTD. I have looking forward to printing out some tomorrow and start using them with my Moleskine 18 Month Large Planner.
I am a little disappointed that my green got shuffled out. Maybe a Special Edition for me. **hint hint**
It was a great endeavor and hopefully it will help us low-techsters get more done with our Moleskines.

Michael,

Thank you for everything!

Wow, this version is great!
I defently give this a try!
I'm wondering for the next version's features...
#4 I can't possibly use this
I can't possibly use this until it has curved corners, shiny text and reflections ;).
Seroiusly this is great work. I am a recent convert to both GTD and moleskine’s and this couldn’t have come along at a better time.

Next features will be a surprise ;-)
It's very nice to see that mGTD has the potentiality to be a useful tool...
#6 Oh Stefane, that's
Oh Stefane, that's great!
Just as I was asking myself if I should buy a Moleskine to test a GTD hack...
Thanks for this! I'm buying that Moleskine tomorrow :)
(I've finally found out that I can't use digital GTD tools, really. Only writing them down can keep me going)
#7 I was using MonkeyGTD, but
I was using MonkeyGTD, but writing with a pencil on a Moleskine page, has its own ...magic :-)

Looks like good work, i'm a fan of GTD... and I know what a moleskine is, But what is this for? Do you put it between the pages of your moleskine? Or paste it or something? Just asking=)
#9 Yes the mGTD system can put
Yes the mGTD system can put it between the Moleskine pages ;-)
#10 Hey! Nice work. I came up
Hey!
Nice work. I came up with a similar idea (putting sheets of paper in my moleskine) and patched the D*I*Y templates to do the job. I use an A4 sheet and fold it twice to get a four page booklet. It contains then three action lists and a shared "Waiting For" and "Someday / Maybe" list.
Your pages look way nicer though.
You can find my (german) blog entry here: http://www.lennartgroetzbach.de/blog/2007/01/10/diy-moleskine-hack-update/

Do you plan to have a set of templates for the 3.5x5.5 sized Moleskines? I really like the design.

Till the end of this month I will update mGTD and I will include templates for 3.5x5.5 sized Moleskines.
Glad you find useful the mGTD!
#13 So you just stick the loose
So you just stick the loose pages into the moleskine?
And you use the planner moleskine - correct?
#14 Hello, I'm a newby to GTD in
Hello,
I'm a newby to GTD in general, but I'm getting there, step by step. I have seen these fantastic templates and I've also just got a Moleskin notebook as a gift. I know that this will sound really dumb, but I just don't get it that if I write everything on to these templates, then why would I need the Moleskin for.
Could you guys give me some exemples of how are you setting up your Moleskin and the crads to implement GTD.
Thanks
Bela
#15 Hi, i'm experimenting
Hi, i'm experimenting different systems for hacking my moleskine in a GTD style, and i love those pdf for my moleskine agenda.
(An example in my blog, here http://composmentis.wordpress.com/2007/03/22/gtdmoleskine/
that's the last system i've tried, the one i actually use.)
How do you print them? I'd like to have them suitable for both my moleskines, the big one and the small, which is quite 14cm x 8cm.
Which format is it suitable? A6?
Thanks Stefanos very much for all your suggestions :)
#16 Stefanos, did you like Lexus
Stefanos,
did you like Lexus RX07h?

Gary after this i had a test drive with RX400h and I bought it :-)
It's an amazing car!

Glad to see a Greek guy doing GTD!
Great implementation!
#19 I love these PDF's but I'm
I love these PDF's but I'm still waiting for the smaller design for my new pocket Moleskine ...
Is there any way to print these NA files 4 to a A4, so it's foldable. I would need only that page, 4 times in a row (each colour 1x) with the last two upside down. Who can make my day? It would be perfect if the next action field was merged with the context-field and the v-field.
I would use the colours for different contexts.
#20 Problemusers idea is good,
Problemusers idea is good, but he's right that these PDF's are way more beautifull !
#21 Well, into the next week I
Well, into the next week I will publish the next version of my mGTD, and I will include versions for the pocket Moleskines too ;-)
So keep mGTDing ...
#22 SUPER ! Can't wait for them,
